Mfds Part 2 (60 Osce Stations)

This book is a practical revision guide for postgraduates preparing for the OSCE element of the MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery) examination.  Presented with 60 OSCE stations, students are encouraged to apply the theory and knowledge they have acquired in simulated patient encounters in the setting of a clinical examination.  Each station opens with a summary of relevant clinical information, followed by a practice OSCE and examiner mark sheet.  Candidates are guided through questions they are likely to encounter, with explanations of the most appropriate answers and direction towards key research papers and further reading to enhance their knowledge.  The book gives practical advice on how to approach revision and useful tips to improve exam technique, helping students maximise the chances of success.
