The primary purpose of this book is to integrate formal theory with real clinical situations in oral medicine and also to instill a sense of critical thinking at every step of the diagnostic and management exercise that a student undertakes in oral medicine clinics.  In this book, over 100 common clinical scenarios involving oral diseases requiring non-surgical treatment are presented. Solutions to the clinical problems presented have been discussed in some detail in the form of answers to a series of commonly posed questions.
