It is needless to say how the last edition of this book served the postgraduates and residents of orthopedics in their training and day-to-day practices. We received many responses and suggestions regarding its usefulness and betterment for the upcoming edition. First of all, we have rearranged all the 10 sections of this book. Printing errors and factual mistakes have been corrected and updated. Sections are rearranged from anatomical aspect to surgical aspect of practical orthopedics. Some OSCE-type questions have been added at the end of each chapter. Different physiotherapy procedures have been included in rehabilitation section that offer a brief knowledge of rehabilitation to our students. Side by side, the glorious history of world orthopedics to honor our forefathers of this department around the globe has been repositioned in this edition. How to approach OSCE in masters practical examination is also briefed in the miscellaneous section of this edition. Some new photographs, boxes, charts, etc., have been added at proper places.
