This textbook provides the foundation for the study of dental radiology and is designed to serve as a basic introduction to dental image interpretation. Most of the features of the first and second editions have been retained with minor additions and upgradations with each chapter beginning with objectives of the main teaching points and additional text on 3D printing and 4D imaging. An online MCQ booklet for each chapter sometimes drawing on material from more than one chapter, to assist readers in assessing their understanding of the basic principles. The rationale of the correct answers would be given, as a Ready Reckoner reference. Author have tried through all editions to show the way forward to both students and practicing radiologists and radiographers from conventional radiography to digital imaging to 3D and 4D imaging.
