This book is prepared to present important pediatric and neonatal nursing procedures to guide nursing professionals and other child healthcare providers to perform need-based priority interventions following scientific principles and rationale with recommended evidence-based clinical guidelines. The book is divided into four units presented with specific sequences on priority needs of the sick hospitalized children. Unit-1 contains eight basic topics for caring of children with special considerations in health care. Unit-2 contains 30 neonatal nursing procedures. Unit-3 contains 34 procedures for the young infants and children in medical illnesses. Unit-4 contains 10 procedures related to surgical problems of the children.
