All the chapters are scrutinized properly and special attention is paid for correction of spelling mistakes and modifications of questions and answers in many respects. Some new questions relevant to examination purpose are also included in each chapter and answers are simplified. A few new articles are added in this edition, such as uterine prolapse and hydrosalpinx (specimen), laparoscopic and hysteroscopic instruments, hysteroscopic method of contraception and implants (contraception), importance of CT and MRI in gynecology with images, and a few flowcharts including certain other instruments too. Case discussion on swelling of vulva and pruritus vulvae and some other important topics such as dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), genital tuberculosis, acute pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), vulvodynia and assisted reproductive technology (for postgraduates) are incorporated to make this edition up-to-date in contents and approaches.
