Yearbook Of Critical Care 2023: Hics Initiative

The field of intensive care is very dynamic, and new evidence emerges almost on a daily basis. Keeping pace with all the new information, analyzing and assimilating it and implementing its gist is the key to the practice of evidence-based medicine. The Hyderabad Intensive Care Symposium (HICS) has been in the forefront of bringing such information into the midst of keen learners of intensive care every year. However, the time constraints of a didactic meeting make it impossible to convey every advance and guideline. The team therefore took upon itself the task of compiling all the major and interesting publications of the last 12 months and having them analyzed for publication.
